Bryan grew up in Ellensburg WA, and graduated from Ellensburg High School. Upon graduation in 2010, he received a four-year Army ROTC scholarship to CWU, where he was elected Student Body President, and majored in political science while simultaneously earning his commission as an Army Officer. Upon graduation in June 2014, he attended training in Fort Benning Georgia, followed by an initial assignment in the reconnaissance squadron of 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM.) At JBLM, Bryan served as a Reconnaissance Platoon Leader and Troop Executive Officer. While serving in these key positions, he supported his brigade’s efforts to deter and defeat threats in the Indo-Pacific region. During this time, Bryan also met and married his wife Sierra, who grew up in Poulsbo, Washington.
In the summer of 2018, Bryan was assigned as an ROTC instructor at Alabama A&M in Huntsville Alabama, where he served until May 2019, when he returned to Ellensburg and transitioned into his civilian job as a business consultant for a nationwide convenience store chain. Bryan also chose to continue his military service with the Washington Army National Guard and in the fall of 2019 deployed with his Squadron for a train, assist, and advise mission in the middle east.
Upon returning in summer 2020, Bryan was appointed Vice Chairman of the KCRP. In December 2020, he was re-elected as the lower county Vice-Chairman and looks forward to leveraging his military and leadership experience to recruit high quality Republican PCOs and candidates for Kittitas County. Bryan continues to reside in Ellensburg with his wife and their one-year-old son Jackson.
Charles A. “Chuck” Cox
Chuck was born and raised in southern Idaho on a small family farm and graduated from Jerome High School and was active in student government, athletics, and FFA. He graduated from the University of Idaho with a BS in Animal Science. Chuck was involved and served on boards of student agricultural groups, FarmHouse Fraternity, worked on 2 worldly recognized nutrition research projects and played a couple of years of Vandal football. This is also where he met his wife, Markee, current PCO in Kittitas County. They have 3 daughters and 11 grandchildren.
Chuck had a successful career in the animal health and nutrition industry for 40+ years covering the Pacific NW and managing several multimillion-dollar territories. Chuck was the first non-veterinarian elected to serve on the board of directors of the Idaho Veterinary Medical Association and has served on several livestock association boards and committees. He is a frequent guest speaker at the University of Idaho, WSU’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Oregon State University, and several livestock organizational groups. Additionally, Chuck and his wife are entrepreneurs, currently own and operate a consulting, coaching, and mentoring business for 35+ years, a hay farm in Badger Pocket, Bent Nail Workshop, and I.T.S. Life LLC, a livestock and business owner consulting company.
Politically, Chuck and his wife are lifelong, staunch conservatives. Chuck has served as a county chairman and was on the state board of directors of the Idaho Young Republicans. Chuck has represented livestock groups at both Idaho and Washington state legislature events. He implemented a “Patriot of the Year” recognition program for the Washington Cattlemen’s Association.
Chuck is passionate about preserving the US Constitution and the freedoms it gives us by limiting government. He strongly reminds people of the 5th Amendment and the government’s limitation on taking property without “due process,” especially through a non-legislative process oftentimes implemented by non-elected bureaucrats and agencies, such as the Dept. of Ecology, DNR, Endangered Species Act, EPA, to name a few.
I, with honor, will do my best to represent the Kittitas County Republicans.
